Biotin labeled Proteinase K is one of Nanocs"Proteinase K conjugates. Proteinase K is a highly reactive nonspecific serine protease that is capable of inactivating RNases and DNases and is used in the isolation or preparation of high molecular weight nucleic acids. Proteinase K is also useful for helping to characterize enzymes, due to its cleavage specificity. Proteinase K is stable in a wide variety of detergents and buffer salts and at various temperatures and pH. The isoelectric point of proteinase K is 8.9. Biotinylated Proteinase K can be used for enzyme studies, bioassay development and many other biomedical research. Biotin Proteinase K can bind to avidin or streptavidin. All our Proteinase K conjugates were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
