Cy5.5 PEG DBCO:
Cy5.5 PEG DBCO is one of Nanocs" Click Chemistry dyes with an azide reactive DBCO group. DBCO (Dibenzylcyclooctyne) is a commonly used strain-promoted cyclooctyne Click chemistry reactive group that can react with azide (-N3) through 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition without need any catalyst. Reaction between azide and DBCO group allows conjugation of Cy5.5 dye to proteins, antibodies, peptides, nucleic acid or particles with high efficiency. Cy5.5 PEG dye is a near infrared fluorescent dye with excitation/emission wavelength at 675 nm/694 nm. PEG linker between Cy5.5 and DBCO group offers better water solubility, reduced steric hindrance and enhanced stability. Compared to other fluorescent dyes, Nanocs’ reactive fluorescent PEG dyes are brighter, more stable and easier to use. All our reactive fluorescent PEG dyes can be used directly in aqueous buffer without need adding any organic solvents.
